My name is Heather, and I'm a lovely wife enthusiast. What is a "Lovely Wife?" Well, to me, it means not only taking responsibility for our home and daily lives, but ENJOYING the responsibility and going above and beyond to make them beautiful. To me this means cooking good food, creating and maintaining a lovely, home-y home, and making people feel special.
I love to organize, decorate, plan parties, cook delicious healthy food, and watch old movies. I also love listening to, writing, and making music. My little family and I reside in the country outside of Athens, Georgia in a small little house that I've lovingly named "The Cottage." I'm always in a state of decorating and redecorating and my list of projects for our builder grade home is long! My husband and I are fans of DIY's, and we have fun working together to make our house a home.
I married the love of my life and best friend, Nathan, in July of 2011. He is my daily support and source of encouragement. We are both music teachers at the same school and we enjoy collaborating with each other to grow our fine arts program.
We are so excited to be adding a new addition, a baby boy, to our family due in late February! We know our lives will be changing drastically, and I'm excited to share this experience with you all.
Our cat Winston, and Margaret our blue tick coon hound, make up the rest of our little family.
I am a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and my relationship with Him permeates everything I do. It's only by His love and grace that I am able to do and achieve anything lovely at all.
