All that to say...
It's been far too long since my last post. So many things have happened in that time that it would be silly and slightly embarrassing to list them all.
Some highlights:
- My husband and I both started teaching at the same private Christian school in my home town (my alma mater!) He teaches the band program and I teach elementary music and the choral program. We are so thankful that our fine arts degrees actually got us real jobs and are amazed that someone would pay us to be doing what we love!

- We bought our first house! We love our little cottage in the woods. It's basically builder grade everything, but has lots of potential! My husband loves living in the country and we are so thankful that we have ten acres just for us! I'm excited for all the fun DIY projects this new adventure will bring and I hope to share our endeavors with you here.
- We're having a baby! After four years of marriage, my husband and I are thrilled (and a little terrified) to welcome our son into the world in late February. We know our lives are about to change drastically, and I'm sure I'll be posting a-plenty about the trials and thrills of being a first-time parent.
