Free Oscar Ballot Printable!!!

So last night I got to work on the ballots for my Oscar Viewing Party. I really liked (loved!) Twig and Thistle's version this year, but I was scared that if I used her printables (found here) that I would run out of black ink rather quickly. So instead, I decided to make my own! There's kind of a satisfaction knowing that you made something yourself, and I am SO happy to share my DIY with all of you!

These ballots are super easy and quick to assemble, no trimming required, just print, fold, staple and done!
I like that they are clean and simple. My color palate for this year's party is black, white, and gold, so I used gold card stock for the cover, but you could easily do any other color you so desire.

Instructions:
  1. Download the PDF here
  2. Print out the first page (told you this was easy!)
  3. Take the first page and put it back into the computer, backwards and upside down, and print out the second page onto the back of the first page. Test this out on your own personal printer, as the settings can vary.
You should now have the entire ballot printed, front and back, on one piece of paper.

   4.   Fold the ballot in half, with the "Best Original Screenplay" at the top of your first "page."

   5.   Print out the ballot cover onto thicker card stock (I used gold to match the party colors for this year) and fold it in half.
   6.   Insert the ballot pages into the cover and staple the binding.

Make sure this "page" is last so that you can tally up your score!

And there you have it, Ladies and Gentlemen, your very own Academy Awards Ballot!
I love making everyday days into fun celebrations. Even if you're planning to watch the Oscar's by yourself in your pajamas, go ahead and make yourself a ballot and make a night of it! Pop some popcorn and dim the lights and it will REALLY be a party!!

Happy Crafting!
